At Oxfam at SU, we are part of a global movement against the injustices of poverty. We work in alignment with Oxfam America to raise awareness about pressing global issues and work locally with community organizations in Syracuse to effect change in the city. Our cofounders, strongly believed in Oxfam’s mission and decided to bring the chapter to SU in November 2015. In January 2016, they instated Oxfam at SU’s community service department to ensure that we are engaged citizens locally and globally. e: oxfam.syr@gmail.com
