Introducing CHERVONA ORKESTAR This year, Chervona expands into an extra-extended ensemble of outstanding musicians and singers, performing under a special name inspired by Eastern European tradition: CHERVONA ORKESTAR In many Eastern European countries, large, high-powered musical ensembles are known as “Orkestars.” This year, Chervona is rising to that scale—bringing a bigger sound, a fuller brass section, richer vocal harmonies, and an electric stage presence unlike anything seen before at this event. This is not just a concert; it’s a supercharged musical celebration. Also featuring DJ Jedi discotheque, delivering the best mix of old favorites and modern hits to keep the dance floor alive all night. About Chervona Chervona is Portland’s iconic international folk-dance party machine, known for its explosive blend of European pop, American jazz, punk, disco, ska with Romani and Klezmer folk traditions.  With it’s soulful brass and driving rhythms, the band fuses old-world authenticity with new-world energy.
