Wanderlust will take the audience on a stroll through some of musical history’s most groundbreaking celebrations of the land and its beauty. It will explore the search for "dear land" in Schubert's Wanderer Fantasy, the adoration of the Earth and the ultimate sacrifice in Stravinsky's Rite of Spring, the mystery of nature In The Mists of Janáček, and the evocation of the night in Respighi's "Notturno."
