Oak & Ash
Alternative Rock
Hailing from New York City, Oak & Ash formed in late 2014 and set out to change the landscape of the Pop/ Rock scene with a variety of soulfully written and performed original records. Their explosive anthems, soaring guitar solos, soulful vocals, and recognizable pop song structure, has been compared to a mix between Kings of Leon, Maroon 5, and Coldplay. Just over two years after its formation, the group has booked renowned venues such as The Gramercy Theatre, Irving Plaza, The Paramount Theatre, and Webster Hall. In July 2015, the band released its debut EP, titled “Slightly Reckless” and is set to release a second EP in early 2017 that will include their newest single "Step Into The Light".
"With each and every performance, we become more sure of ourselves as artists, as musicians, and as individuals. This second EP was almost easy to write in some ways because of everything we had been through, everything we had been feeling during that first year of being together. I'm excited for people to hear a new Oak & Ash. A more confident, driven, and self assured group of guys, chasing an insane dream." - Rich Tuorto (lead singer)

Music
Hailing from Princeton, NJ the members of Manta, Jack Brickner (vocals/bass), Charlie Guarino (vocals/guitar), Sam Guarino (vocals/guitar/keys), and Mike LaFisca (drums/vocals) have been playing in bands together since their early teens and writing music well before that. Showcasing dynamic musicianship, meticulous arrangements, and thoughtful lyricism, the group melds their formative love of 60s/70s rock and pop with a thirst for experimentation and a knack for crafting radio-friendly hooks.
All three members are prolific writers, their distinct voices and stylistic blends making for an engaging listen. Layers of guitar and keyboard textures coalesce under hints of psychedelia as the group transitions between energetic fuzz blasts and mood-inducing grooves, sometimes within the same song.
Charlie’s tasteful guitar work alternates between spacey arpeggios and distorted licks; Brickner dishes out the groove with melodious bass lines; Sam adorns each song with infectious cascades of guitar and keyboard flourishes; and Mike brings the drums to the forefront with pounding flourishes of foot tapping goodness.
They got it all.
