Lori Goldston plays cello and collaborates in a wide range of genres and situations, with film makers, singers, composers, choreographers, actors, writers, and bands, including Earth, O Paon, Larry Barrett, somesurprises, Swil Kanim, Clyde Petersen, Black Cat Orchestra, David Byrne, Embryo, Lynn Shelton, Steve Fisk, Jessika Kenney and Eyvind Kang among many, many others, touring throughout North America, Europe and Australia. She toured with Nirvana and played on their Unplugged session.

Her work has been released on Mississippi Records, Sub Rosa, No Sun, Eiderdown, K, Sub Pop, Obscure and Terrible, PIAPTK, Substrata, Yo Yo and Woodland Fauna.

Her amplified solo set is noisy and cinematic, drifting from heavy to minimal, psychedelic to narrative, light to heavy, etc.
