Acclaimed New Orleans ensemble Nolatet returns to Snug Harbor for an evening of adventurous jazz, deep grooves, and fearless improvisation. The quartet brings together legendary New Orleans bassist James Singleton and drummer Johnny Vidacovich with acclaimed vibraphonist and percussionist Mike Dillon and pianist Brian Haas—four distinctive voices creating a sound that is as unpredictable as it is deeply rooted in the Crescent City tradition. Known for their quirky melodies, sophisticated harmonies, groove-driven compositions, and punk-rock energy, Nolatet pushes the boundaries of contemporary jazz while maintaining a strong sense of rhythm and musicality.
