Blue-Eyed Soul
Mark Gibson
Mark Gibson
Blue-Eyed Soul
Mark Gibson is a singer/songwriter from Tulsa, OK, who recently transplanted to Cincinnati, Ohio. Over the years, he's been in solo and band projects that contained a wide array of sounds and influences. After the release of his first solo album, "Beautifully Deconstructed," (2012) which still contained influences of bands like U2 and Coldplay, he decided it was time to define his own sound. His love for music began with the guitar, so it seemed like the right place to start. He quickly realized that when he just played for himself, he naturally played bluesy and soulful riffs. He decided to explore those sounds further, and what he found was a more rhythmic and soulful approach to playing and songwriting. When he played and sang in that manner, it felt like he was coming home.
He fell in love with the possibilities, and hasn't looked back since. Gibson released his sophomore album in 2016, "Blue Eyed Soul," and it represents four years of writing and playing the type of music that he loves. Throughout 2017, he recorded a few live shows at Soul City in Tulsa, and will be releasing a full-length live album in late 2017 or early 2018. The album showcases a seven piece band of wonderful Tulsa and Oklahoma City musicians that he's proud to call friends. It's raw and emotive; everything you'd expect from a soul band. This isn't the type of soul music that James Brown defined, it's the type that comes from growing up on the Oklahoma plains. Now he's taking that sound to Cincinnati, and is excited to be a part of its rich and diverse music community. Touring the country is also on the horizon, but no matter where he travels, that Okie Soul will always be in the passenger seat.

Americana
Matthew Douglas Simpson
Matthew Douglas Simpson
Americana
Matthew Douglas Simpson is a strange brew. Dangerously observational, painfully perceptive, a representational artist, painting with pen, pad, and the grit that comes with truth. Madly devoted to honesty, he boldly and bluntly shines a shattering light on flawless facades, including his own. Simpson's brand of rural route rock & roll connects with music fans across genre lines. Road trip tested and music snob approved, Matthew Douglas Simpson is an artist you won't want to miss. Oh, and he's an ordained minister.

Country
Noah Smith
Noah Smith
Country
Noah Smith is a touring songwriter from Cincinnati, OH, whose sound resonates with both country and rock n roll fans alike. Mixed whiskey blues, soulful roots, and a road dog spirit, his high energy full band live performances have landed him on national stages opening for artists such as Ashley Mcbryde, Chris Janson, Joe Diffie, The Steve Miller Band, and many more. Noah splits his time between his home studio, Nashville, Tennessee, and the road. He has gained a following in the US and Europe as a featured artist on the Nashville Nights International Songwriter Festival in Odense, Denmark, where he will return for a third appearance in the fall of 2024. Noah is a staple in the Cincinnati songwriter community, and has fostered relationships with over 300 songwriters and artists on his monthly songwriter showcase “Noah Smith’s Crooner Circus,” for over 5 years in Cincinnati, OH, Nashville, TN, and Georgetown, KY. Sami Riggs
Power Pop
Riggs is from Independence, Kentucky, where the midwest meets south, and the roots of American rock, pop, country and soul have jointly influenced her style. Riggs’ music is reminiscent of Sheryl Crow, early Liz Phair, Juliana Hatfield and The Bangles. Aided and abetted by Cincinnati based co-writer, guitarist and producer, Brian Lovely, 24 year old Riggs continues to explore the origins of her influences in the singer-songwriters and classic power pop of the sixties and early seventies.

Country
Colleen McKenna
Colleen McKenna
Country
Colleen McKenna is a rare combination of an old soul and a young heart, perfectly expressed through her bright, resonant vocals and evocative storytelling. Her big dreams and fearless ambition carried her beyond small town Ohio and landed her in Nashville, TN where she found her sound among the classic country music she was raised on. At just 19, McKenna's writing style is wise beyond her years, as she sings about love, heartbreak, and loss while keeping her faith at the center of it all. She has explored various spheres of the music industry, collaborating with a worship music collective to release her debut singles Revival and Gethsemane in 2021, and independently released her debut country EP Rewind in 2022. Now, she is eager to open a new chapter of music that blurs the line between Christian and Country genres to speak to the human experience and glorify God. Her latest EP “Broken Record", a chronological story of heartbreak to healing is out now on all streaming platforms.

Jim Duff
Jim Duff
Country Folk
Growing up in Kentucky, Jim Duff counted the songwriters of traditional country and folk music as his main influences. Artists like Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson, Guy Clark, Bob Dylan, John Prine and Townes Van Zandt have made a huge impact on Jim's writing.
Jim has toured throughout the US, Puerto Rico and all points in between. He's played large festivals, and famous stages such as the Dolby Theater (formerly known as the Kodak Theater) in Hollywood California, The Blue Bird Café in Nashville and the Old Quarter Café in Galveston Texas and the Cactus Café in Austin Texas.
In 2018 a devastating medical report changed Jim's life forever. He was diagnosed with stage four melanoma cancer on his brain, lung, liver, and hip.
By April 2019 he had made a remarkable recovery and hit the ground running with his songs and music. Jim released an incredible string of singles, EPs, and a full length album. In less than two years he produced a career-worthy catalog. Then came a tour that took him back down to Texas.
It hasn’t been easy. Cancer came for him again in 2020 and 2021, but with the help of his doctors, family, friends and the prayers of fans he is once again on the mend. Treatments continue but Jim is not letting anything get in the way of the music. He’s still writing, recording, touring and releasing new songs.
Jim Duff is still fighting cancer everyday. But he refuses to let it slow him down. The show must go on. There are stories to tell and songs to write and sing.

Michael Moeller is a songwriter, artist, and musician from the flatlands east of Cincinnati, Ohio. For the people around there, his music is a unique take on familiar tales. For everyone else, it is a fresh look into a midwestern river city life made into song.
Michael is a seasoned performer with years of solo acoustic shows filling the calendar along with full band shows accompanied by his backing band, The Ohio River Authority. With influences like Chris Ledoux, Guy Clark, Eric Church, and Justin Townes Earl, he pulls aspects of those legends into his unique delivery of original music that is heavily focused on lyrics and story. His songs are grounded in sincerity above all else. The goal is to make sure the audience knows he believes in the words he is singing. Whether performing solo acoustic sets or with The Ohio River Authority, Michael connects deeply with audiences who crave authenticity over polish.
His studio efforts have produced 2 EPs and 1 single to date with more in production. In 2014, he debuted the Michael Moeller EP with his first collection of songs to present himself as an artist and songwriter. In 2021, he released the EP Can't See The Stars. On Leap Day of 2024, he released his latest single, Band Aid Boy, for his son who celebrates his birthday on the shy Feb 29th.
