Nicolas King returns to the legendary Birdland on Monday, March 10 with a new show featuring music to celebrate the spring season in New York! A tribute the golden age of nightclubs, his concert will feature music in tribute to Mel Tormé, Sammy Davis Jr., and Tony Bennett.
Nicolas King celebrates 30 years in showbusiness this year, having begun his career at 4 years old in TV commercials and on Broadway as the longest running “Chip” in Disney’s Beauty And The Beast. He appeared in Carol Burnett’s Hollywood Arms directed by Hal Prince, and toured the country with his mentor Liza Minnelli as her opening act. He teamed with jazz legend Mike Renzi when he was 17, releasing three albums including award winning “On Another Note.” He’s appeared at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, The Blue Note and the jazz corner of the world, Birdland.
