The Reflective lyricism of Trippin Roots Seamlessly blends folk, rock and americana into an original sound that is making waves in the greater Kentucky area. Frontman Evan Curran adopted the stage name after performing for some years at various bars and restaurants. Curran would eventually reach out to long time friend and musical counterpart Zac Day, who would join to aid in composition and arrangement. The duo quickly found themselves performing night in and night out, while working tirelessly to refine their sound. Just a few short years into their musical journey and Trippin Roots found themselves on stage at the Lexington Music Awards accepting the award for Best Americana Band in 2020, and opening for bands like Sunday Best. With two albums now under their belt (Waiting for the Fall & Modern Man), Curran is set to record his debut solo effort, while Trippin Roots continues to pioneer their own sound. On this project he will be accompanied by life long friend and Sturgill Simpson drummer Miles Miller. The project is expected to finish in late June of this year.
