After working to put together the successful 10-piece funk/soul outfit Philly's Phunkestra recently Chris has spent time with new funk monster the Roseland Hunters and his groups have shared stages with others such as Dumpstaphunk, Rebirth Brass Band, Fitz and the Tantrums, The Wailers, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Galactic and more!
It has now come time to take a project that Phillips says, "Has been a works for a while," to the front of the line. With the ever funky Justin Calhoun on the drums and the exceptional Jason Butterworth on guitar Plutons is amping up for the Summer of 2016 with the release of their record "In The Bag".
