The New York based Progressive Americana group Nefesh Mountain Band has been hailed as one of the formative boundary-pushing ensembles in roots music. Over the past decade they have created a world and sound all their own; blurring the lines between Americana, Bluegrass, Psych-Folk, Jazz, Blues, and Jam with a masterful hand as songwriters, instrumentalists and composers alike. Their critically acclaimed double album and latest release Beacons marks a new touchstone for the band, bringing together hard driving acoustic bluegrass with searing electric Americana, blues and jam.
Nefesh Mountain’s exciting and transformative live performances are a striking amalgam of their music that now spans over 6 albums and 10 years as a band.
