Description
We recorded a new EP where we reimagined a couple songs from Saint of Second Chances and then recorded a couple new songs in the same laid-back style. December 20th at SPACE is going to be a celebration of this new EP, and to celebrate the past year. We're going to dress up, so come dressed up if you want to. We'll have a photo booth for folks to commemorate the evening and the wardrobe choices, so come dressed in whatever your version of nice is! The band and I are really looking forward to celebrating these new songs and this past year with everybody.

Hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota, singer/songwriter Quinn Tsan began playing music in 2008 when she relocated to Chicago, IL to sing back-up for Joe Pug. Classically trained in dance though always having an affinity for music, Tsan quickly immersed herself in the local scene, going on to sing with Sarah Holtschlag, Rachele Eve, Johnny Lewis, and Sima Cunningham, among others.
It wasn’t until 2013, when Tsan began playing guitar and writing her own songs, that she defined herself as performer to listen to carefully. The vulnerable and sometimes devastating quality of her voice combined with the acoustic guitar offers a unique invitation to the audience, often leaving listeners spellbound by her melodic inflections and heartbreaking delivery. In addition to performing her own music, she and Jessica Marks co-lead Medicine Women, a project that focuses on re-arranging past and present popular songs into haunting choruses, which are then developed and performed by ensembles of various female vocalists from around the city. Tsan is currently recording her debut EP, Good Winter, which is set to release summer of 2014.
