Description
Nate Fredrick and The Wholesome Boys: Nate Fredrick and The Wholesome Boys is a solid, hardworking honest band. Nate and The Boys can write catchy songs, blend genres together naturally, play as a unit, and perform four part harmonies like the good old days, all the while, retaining that human soul and edge that seems in short supply. There aren’t many situations where Nate & The Boys' music isn't fit to be played. Short of burying one’s favorite animal, this is the type of music that can be played softly on a Sunday with the family or cranked at rowdy outdoor events. What more can be asked of a band that provides the soundtrack to our lives?   Leah Blevins:  Imbued with the grit of vintage country music and the grace of gospel, Born in Sand Hook, Kentucky, Blevins was raised in a musical family. Her aunts, uncles, and grandparents were in a gospel group called the Harbor Masters and toured Appalachia in the '70s and '80s, so it came as no surprise that Leah harbored her own innate musical talent. Inspired by the rich harmonies of church hymns and the pure country prowess of Dolly Parton and Loretta Lynn -- as well as the more secular sounds of artists like Stevie Nicks. Blevins eventually moved to Nashville at the age of 21 to stake out her own claim in the music business. She issued her first EP, Runnin', in 2015, with Walk Home arriving three years later -- both releases showcased her distinctive voice and poetic lyrics. She relocated to Texas in 2020 to begin work on her first full-length effort. The resulting First Time Feeling was recorded in Dallas with Paul Cauthen and Beau Bedford of the Texas Gentlemen and released in 2021.   Dylan Smucker: Dylan Smucker is a force of nature in the music industry. Living in Nashville he has cut his teeth as a writer and performer. Whether it's downtown or out on the road he can entertain a room with only an acoustic guitar and a voice that seems to come from another time. His songs have a classic sound that will surely stick with you throughout the years.
