Natanya
Neo-Soul
London-based singer-songwriter and producer Natanya is emerging as one of pop’s most compelling new voices, crafting music that blends emotional candor with sharp, self-
assured production. Raised in North West London, she began playing classical piano at just four years old and quickly discovered her perfect pitch, later refining her musicianship
at the Julian Joseph Jazz Academy. Early influences spanning Janet Jackson, Amy Winehouse, Paramore, and Stevie Wonder helped shape her genre-fluid sensibility.
While studying English Literature at University College London, Natanya wrote and produced her debut project, Sorrow at Sunrise (2023), a coming-of-age tape structured as a
series of diaristic reflections. She expanded her sonic world with the dual EP releases Feline’s Return with lead singles Daydream, Dangerous,, Guitar, and Feline’s Return Act II
with lead singles Jezebel , Meeting You Once (The End), On Ur Time and Sofa Joy all of which gained significant momentum from the release. Marking a confident shift toward a
more polished, pop-forward sound without losing her introspective edge.
Her latest single, “DON’T ASK!”, encapsulates this evolution-a bold, self-possessed anthem centered on agency and ambition.
Natanya’s next single, “CANDYLAND!”, is set for release in June, ahead of a new project arriving in September. Across her work, Natanya serves as the executive producer and
sole lyricist, with Oscar Scheller acting as co-producer.
Natanya’s rise has been met with early acclaim and co-signs from artists including SZA, Tyler, The Creator, Clairo, and RAYE. A captivating live performer, she has toured with
Destin Conrad, Ravyn Lenae, Mereba and supported FLO and PinkPantheress. With a growing global fanbase and an instinct for reinvention, Natanya is carving out a lane
entirely her own.
Natanya’s music has received early yet abundant critical acclaim. She won GUAP GALA’s “Music Artist to Watch” award in 2023, an honor previously given to the girl group FLO.
She has also been featured in many magazines such as; Paper, Pitchfork, Clash, NME, Dazed .
