A fourteen-time MAC Award winner, two-time Backstage Bistro Award recipient, and Nightlife Award honoree, Douglas reunites with her longtime friend and music director Brian Nash (Silence! The Musical; Audra McDonald; Jennifer Holliday) and band to debut this vibrant new program. The evening celebrates soul music—one of America’s great indigenous art forms—blending jazz, gospel, rock, and R&B into a powerful and emotionally rich Black American musical expression.
