Chicago's most energetic band that rocks for kids, the award-winning Mr. Singer & the Sharp Cookies, goes all out for the season of ghosts and goblins with their fourth album, Happy Haunted Halloween. To celebrate the album's release, Mr. Singer & the Sharp Cookies will perform a family Halloween show at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 28 at Beat Kitchen, 2100 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago, IL . With plenty of treats and maybe a few tricks up its sleeve,this special Halloween concert will include songs that celebrate chocolate, ghost stories, mysteries, friendship, facing fears, bonfires, dance parties, and haunted houses. Families can expect a FUN performance where costumes are welcome, dancing is likely, and a spooktacular time will be had by all. This will be a chance for parents to experience a rock show with their kids in one of Chicago’s coolest venues, with professional staging, lighting, drinks, and good food. Mr. Singer & the Sharp Cookies are the husband-and-wife team of Neil and Kerry Firstenleit ("Mr. Singer" and "Kerry Appleberry"), along with dynamo drummer Michael Massett ("Marius Mustard") and Jake Samson on bass.
