“Mood Lifters - A Tribute to Rush” is an exciting international touring Rush tribute band based in Southern California. Mood Lifters faithfully reproduces the music of Rush with passion and precision. Singer Charlotte La Rue, a devout Rush fan from a very early age, brings great energy and authenticity to reproducing Geddy Lee's soaring vocals. Guitarist Ben King captures the unique style of Alex Lifeson, delivering all the tones and notes that Rush fans have enjoyed over the years. Drummer Mat Miranda is a career professional that reproduces Neil Peart's rhythms and percussion with unprecedented accuracy and groove. And bassist/keyboardist Isamu Kakitani shines in his abilities not only to render Geddy Lee's complex bass lines note-for-note, but also to deliver Rush's lush and moving synth textures with stunning accuracy.   In 2024, Mood Lifters performed in Scotland, followed by a five-city tour of Australia. Locally, Mood Lifters has performed at large venues including the City National Grove of Anaheim (Anaheim, CA), the Garden Amphitheater (Costa Mesa, CA), the Swap Meet at Santa Fe Springs, the Oceanview Pavilion (Venmra, CA), the House of Blues (Anaheim, CA) and the Music Box (San Diego, CA). Mood Lifters regularly performs at the Tiki Bar (Costa Mesa, CA), and Navajo Live (San Diego). Other venues include the Whisky a GoGo (Hollywood, CA - as the headliner), The Lighthouse Cafe (Hermosa Beach, CA), Molly Malone's Irish Pub (Los Angeles, CA), The Viper Room (Hollywood, CA), Hilltop Tavern (Apple Valley, CA), The Alvas Showroom (San Pedro, CA), Rock ‘n’ Roll Pizza (Simi Valley, CA), Project Barley (Lomita, CA), The Mamba Sports Bar & Grill (Huntington Beach, CA), The Doll Hut (Anaheim, CA), and the Tudor House (Lake Arrowhead, CA). Mood Lifters also played in Mexico, at the Black Box (Tijuana).   Mood Lifters has an established base of appreciative Rush fans who regularly come out to their shows to relive their Rush experiences all over again.
