Dyon “Mojo” Brooks is an actor, writer, producer, and nationally acclaimed stand-up comedian who was named as one of Variety’s 10 Comics to Watch for 2025 where he was recognized and honored at the historic Just For Laughs Montreal. The prestigious list includes such notable alumni as Kevin Hart, Amy Schumer, Patton Oswalt, Tiffany Haddish, and Kumail Nanjiani to name just a few.
Mojo recently concluded his nationwide “I Know You F*ckin’ Lying” Tour which saw every single ticket sold out, moving over 100,000 tickets across 40 cities. This tour also marked major milestones such as selling out the historic Chicago Theatre, the Orpheum, and two shows at New York’s Town Hall to name a few. Currently, he’s wrapping up his co-headline “We Them Ones” Arena Tour with Mike Epps, playing to audiences of 10,000+ every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night across the country.
Mojo will headline the prestigious Netflix Is a Joke Festival this May with a fully sold out show at Los Angeles’s United Theatre. On the heels of that, he will announce his 2026 “Outta Pocket” Theatre + Arena solo headline tour with stops including Wintrust Arena in Chicago, The Met Philadelphia, Boston’s Wilbur Theatre, and The Lyric in Baltimore. With this tour, he enters the rarified air of <30 comedians that can sell out an arena on their own. The demand, fandom, and passion for Brooks is palpable across not only the country, but internationally as he will be touring across London and the EU in Summer 2026 as well.
Mojo recently taped his debut one-hour Stand-Up Special, shot in front of three sold out crowds at Atlanta’s Center Stage Theatre. The special was directed by Mike Lavin who has previously directed the likes of Shane Gillis, Nate Bargatze, and Jim Gaffigan to name a few.
As an actor, Brooks can currently be seen as the male lead for Tyler Perry’s MISS GOVERNOR on Netflix alongside the legendary Terri J Vaughn and Jo Marie Payton, the series held a multiple-week Top 10 for following its debut. Additionally, Dyon can be seen on the most recent Season [21] of Nick Cannon’s WILD N OUT, having been hand selected by Cannon who is a fan of Brooks viral sketch comedy videos that can be found across his social media pages, which have amassed millions of views and over 35 million likes. Brooks counts more than 2.2 million Instagram followers, 3.3 million Facebook followers, and over 1.5 million TikTok followers.
A Chicago native, Brooks frequently collaborates with the Chicago Bears and won a Sports-Emmy for his writing efforts across commercial and digital work, which the team continues to collaborate with him on. Additionally, Brooks has lent his comedic acting talents to music videos including Lil Durk’s hit Sad Songs. When not entertaining audiences, Brooks gives back to his community in Chicago, dedicating his time and resources to support youth development programs, demonstrating his commitment to making a positive impact beyond the stage and screen.
