Born in Sicily and based in Kingston, Jamaica, he  has built a unique musical identity by blending the depth of Jamaican tradition with a  modern, global sound rooted in authenticity, consciousness and musical craftsmanship.   After moving to Jamaica, Alborosie worked at the legendary Geejam Studios, where he  refined his skills as a producer and musician alongside some of the island’s most  respected artists, engineers and producers. His deep connection with Jamaican culture  and sound soon shaped a powerful solo career, marked by acclaimed albums and  international anthems such as “Kingston Town”, “Herbalist”, “Still Blazing” and  “Rastafari Anthem”. His discography also features collaborations with major reggae  and international artists, including Buju Banton, Ky-Mani Marley, Kabaka Pyramid,  Protoje, Collie Buddz, Jo Mersa Marley, Chronixx, Jah Cure, J Boog, The Abyssinians,  and many more.   Known for his commanding live performances with the Shengen Clan, Alborosie has  toured extensively across Europe, the Americas, Africa and beyond, bringing reggae’s  message of resistance, unity and spiritual awareness to audiences worldwide. With a  devoted global fanbase and an uncompromising artistic vision, he continues to stand as  one of the leading ambassadors of reggae music today. His latest album, “Nine Mile”,  confirms his deep connection to the roots of reggae while pushing his sound forward  with renewed energy and purpose.
