Mild Universe is a six-piece indie-dance collective from San Francisco, known for their lush synths, vibrant horn lines, and infectious grooves. Percussionist and composer Sam Jones creates catchy, dancefloor-friendly tracks, elevated by the effortless vocals of beloved Oakland singer . Since 2019, Mild Universe has earned a reputation for their energetic live performances and a sound that blends hypnotic rhythms with atmospheric melodies. They've shared stages with Say She She, TV on the Radio, ESG, and Automatic. Their debut LP, Everything Must Change, featuring vocals from Jamie Zee, explores shifting relationships, love, and the ever-changing landscape of San Francisco.

Theodor is named after a 24-year-old cat that observed the genesis of the band’s first album. The recording sessions started deep in the pandemic and captured this peaceful solitude. The outcome was their self-titled LP. The idea to form a recording project was born on a road trip to Italy. Rob ( @Okta Logue )and Lui ( @LUI HILL ) were listening to tapes of contemporary soul music which became the subsequent inspiration for the project: a vision to record a moody and relaxed soundscape. The band was then rounded out by Max( @Fooks Nihil ) and Greg ( @Triorität ) “THEODOR” was released on the french record label Broc Recordz (2023). After their well-received self-titled debut album, the band is back with a new LP. “HOLOCENE” will be released on the 29th of November on Broc Recordz.
