The Foons are an indie/punk/pop/rock band that is based out of Chicago. The band started out as a project between drummer Taed Cejtin and songwriter/instrumentalist Erik Rothlind but the duo grew into a 5 man operation on the road to producing their first EP. Keyboardist and music producer Ross Donewald was the first addition to the unsolved puzzle, and next to hop on board were Taed’s older twin brothers Sam and Will Cejtin on bass and lead guitar. The Foons take influences from musicians like LCD Soundsystem, The Pixies, Sales, The Strokes, Arcade Fire, Kanye West and so on. Their aim is to make you fall in love and hate yourself for it.
