No openiners or closers! Just pure, raw, one-person Brooklyn comedy! MOODY MCCARTHY Moody was raised in Syracuse, New York, the 6th of 7 children. He began his comedy career in Syracuse in 1992 and from 1994-95 covered sports on WYYY's ("Y94FM") morning show. He is still a regular guest on WTKW ("TK99") with "Gomez & Lisa in the Morning". McCarthy has made appearances on Conan on December 9, 2015[3] and The David Letterman Show on July 12, 2012 and September 5, 2014.[4] His first network appearance was on the re-vamped Star Search in 2003. Moody also appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2004, and was a semi-finalist on Last Comic Standing in 2006. In 2014 he advanced to the second round of America's Got Talent but was not shown performing in the telecast. He's truly a unique and hilarious comedian who's a real "comic's comic."
