*Happy Hour Concert Series* featuring Mickey P. & Autumn D Mickey P. & Autumn D. play Lennie & Lee celebrates the groundbreaking work of pianist Lennie Tristano and saxophonist Lee Konitz, two innovators who shaped modern jazz with their harmonic freedom, rhythmic complexity, and cool, lyrical sound. Pianist and educator Michael Pellera, longtime faculty member and chair of the NOCCA Jazz department, joins alto saxophonist Autumn Dominguez, a New Orleans–based bandleader and composer whose style reflects her deep study of Konitz, for an evening of inspired interplay honoring these jazz visionaries.
