Melody Angel, the powerhouse of "electric church music," ignites stages worldwide with her unique blend of soulful vocals and electrifying guitar skills. Her self-titled album and accompanying global tour have captivated audiences across Germany, and numerous cities throughout the US, including Chicago, Denver, and Florida. Including a highly anticipated series of shows in Lima, Peru, this October. Journalists universally praise her stage presence and musical prowess, drawing comparisons to icons like Jimi Hendrix, Prince, and Sister Rosetta Tharpe. A true prodigy, Melody taught herself guitar on a purple electric Fender strat that still accompanies her today. She's a multi-instrumentalist, mastering piano, bass, and drums, and demonstrating her versatility by single-handedly playing and producing her latest album. Defying industry norms, Melody embodies a generational talent committed to realizing her rock and roll dreams despite the odds. Melody Angel's journey is a testament to perseverance and passion in the face of adversity. Soul-Blues
A Patch of Blues is a unique blues and soul band with Fati Jones (vocals), Rebecca Egwuenu (lead guitar), Claudia Easterwood (bass), & Stacy Norris (drums). The members met through the years and developed a friendship at the Fernando Jones Blues Camp in Chicago (Columbia College), where they developed a love for the blues, their city's heritage, and playing music together. Each member is an accomplished musician and vocalist in her own right and decided to come together to bring a unique sound and urban funky flair to their audiences. POB has performed throughout the Chicagoland area and the Midwest (Wisconsin and Indiana) on major festival stages as well as in Memphis at the International Blues Challenge (representing youth Windy City Blues Society). The band was nominated in 2023 for a Chicago Music Award and received a Chicago Music Award for Best Band in 2024. A Patch of Blues strongly believes in the power of music to unite and heal.
