welcome to melodrama! (greek "melos" = song + "drama" = you know, drama )  writers will perform works with direct connections to music - recorded, invented, or otherwise. a band or two will play. you'll have a great time. tickets: $10 adv/$12 door  tonight will include:  C. (Constantine Jones) is a Greek-American thingmaker from Tennessee. They are the author of a novel, IN STILL ROOMS (Operating System 2020) & a collaborative chapbook with Portuguese visual artist Vicente Sampaio, BALEEN: A POEM IN TWELVE DAYS (Ursus Americanus 2022). A life-long student & lover of myth, epic poetry & fantasy role-playing games, C. is currently at work writing & performing an epic of their own.  Glen K. Rodman is the editor and publisher of Shapeless Press, an independent anticapitalist zine press by and for trans people. A recovering academic, he now writes short stories about strange things happening to messy gay people.  Gus Goldsack is a gay poet living in Brooklyn with two cats and three plants. His poems meander between Aotearoa/New Zealand and New York by way of airports, weather systems and terrible romantic decisions. His first collection is Systems, Thinking.  Ryan Schulte is a community gardener at NYC Parks. His first novel, I Dreamed I Saw Augustine, was just published by Rebel Satori Press.  This Wilderness is a must-see sonic duo known to destroy lives. https://thiswilderness.bandcamp.com
