Melissa Erin w/ Dee White
-
Melissa Erin is a New York native who made the move to Nashville in 2020. She cut her teeth recording and performing around the northeast in various original projects. Growing up just outside the city, she drew inspiration from the gritty and diverse music scene, often busking in parks and performing in whatever dive bar or venue the city could offer. The Hudson Valley offered a glimpse into the folk, roots, and americana world, where musicians could share songs around bonfires nestled in the woods, surrounded by mountains and the Hudson river. Since moving to Nashville, she's been writing and recording, soaking up all the sweet things this city has to offer, and preparing for releasing new music.

An Alabama native with a tender tenor and an ageless, pure-country style rooted deep in the
Southern classics Dee White’s story is a wild one. A student of icons like Hank Williams and
Vern Gosdin, White started performing on a lark when his tiny school kicked off a theater class
with a mandatory, on-the-spot audition. An obvious talent, he quickly rose to the status of
small-town phenom, and just a few years later moved on from bonfire singalongs to something
bigger. Still a teenager and working with his father dealing antiques, White was introduced by
chance to famed music executive Harold Shedd – who happened to be an early believer of acts
like Alabama, Reba McEntire, and Shania Twain, helping mold them into superstars. Shedd
invited White to share his music, he heard something … an electrifying spark that ignited
memories of Alabama heroes past and present, from Hank Williams to Jason Isbell and beyond.
Dee White has released 1 full length album, 2019’s Southern Gentlemen, to great critical
acclaim with NPR describing it as full of “exquisite, soaring, plaintive melodies” and Rolling
Stone saying of White that he “sings sweetly of small-town life, love and friendship in a way
that feels lived in.” In June of 2023, White released, Wagon Girl, the first single off his new
project. The new album was produced by legendary producer Tony Brown and is set for
multiple single releases in 2023 and a full album out in 2024.
