After attending Vanderbilt Universityon a full ride, Meg McRee traded her newlyearned degree for the pursuit of an unpredictable dream as a songwriter. McReewas validated as more than a driven idealist with the signing of her first publishingdeal at Hang Your Hat, a creative joint venture with Concord Music Publishing andhit-songwriter Hillary Lindsey. Since, she hashad songs cut byGrace Potter, ElleKing, Caylee Hammack, Paul Cauthen, Carter Faith, Ben Chapman and others. Megrecently released the first track “A Lot to Say” off her debut project as a songwriterturned artist, with a full album coming in early 2023.
