    Soul

MARINA AND THE DREAMBOATS was originally a rag-tag team of regular jammers Mo' Jam Mondays at The Nectar Lounge in Seattle. Marina was assigned a group of players to be part of the Mo' Jam feature on Band in Seattle in 2015. Marina had a taste and she was hooked. She needed more horns. Fast forward to a year later, they have opened for bands such as D'Vonne Lewis' Limited Edition, 45th St Brass and Down North. Their first album is due to be released summer 2017 album. They currently have their single "Self-Love" available on iTunes, Amazon and other major online music sources. Make it your next personal anthem

Marina writes and arranges to her heart's content for this army of a band! Plus she sings, plays bass and leads the band. It's like a magic show.

My name is Nora. I grew up in Hollywood, wrote poems at Brown, acted in LA, sang standards in the valley, played originals in Silver Lake, and just moved to NYC.

    Branik

    Singer-Songwriter

The voice of Branik came to be in the early 1990s in the small town of Florence, Colorado. She followed her heart’s passion for music through to the familiar path of voice development starting early on in school choir, continuing through to High School with private music lessons, and furthering her education in the college realm.

After moving to Boston, MA in 2009 where she attended school for songwriting, her voice developed significantly through the coaching efforts of Steve Kowalczyk. During her time in there, Branik composed and performed a variety of pop/contemporary songs, but eventually, her passions took her to Nashville, TN where she started to develop her true rock sound.

As part of her musical process, the singer and songwriter composes her music from a place inside of her that is driven by emotion, and it’s that emotion that also what drives her music. Branik wants listeners to feel what she feels when listening to something truly touching.

“I don't have a process; I have a spark. I could technically sit down and write you a structured song, but it wouldn't be as powerful, it wouldn't be driven by emotion, and it wouldn't mean anything.”

It is from this musical process that Branik can compose captivating songs like “Persephone,” “Monster,” “Chameleon,” and “Being.”

Listeners familiarize her voice with well-known artists she listened to in her upbringing like Sarah McLachlan, Haley Williams, Amie Lee, and Sia, but she is neither one nor the other. Instead of measuring her voice by octaves, her voice is measured by notable sounds and styles between the 1960s and the present day
