Manic Hispanic is a renowned Orange County/Los Angeles Chicano punk rock supergroup and comedy act formed in the early 1990s. Featuring members from bands like The Adolescents and Cadillac Tramps, they perform satirical covers of punk classics, blending them with barrio humor and Mexican culture. Founding members included the late Steve Soto and Mike "Gabby" Gaborno. Other members have included Efrem Schulz, Elvis Cortez, and Juan Solo.

The Dickies are a seminal Los Angeles punk rock band formed in 1977, known as "the clown princes of punk" for their fast-paced, humorous "bubble-gum punk" style. Often cited as the first California punk band signed to a major label (A&M Records), they achieved UK success with hits like "Banana Splits". They are one of the longest-lasting punk bands, continuing to perform and record decades after their 1970s inception.
