Since the band’s formation in early 2012, Makeshift has been steadily making a name for themselves throughout the east coast DIY pop punk scene. Coming from Long Island, the band follows in the footsteps of other genre defining bands such as Brand New, Taking Back Sunday, and Bayside. Taking influences from those as well as newer pop punk and alternative rock bands, Makeshift’s goal is to give something new and refreshing to the scene. Since releasing their Better Off full-length in 2014, the band has performed at the Ernie Ball stage at the 2015 Vans Warped Tour, Today’s Mixtape Festival, and Launch Music Conference plus tours along the east coast. Forming in mid 2018, Overthinker has taken over Florida by storm. With deep roots in the Florida music scene, as well as ties to the New England scene, Overthinker has rapidly become a household name in the music community. Hailing from Orlando specifically, members Tony Murphy and Eric Snow formed the band, recorded a record and found the perfect members (Glen Ramirez and Joey Crochet) to join the team. Overthinker has collectively honed in a sound reminiscent of the glory days of early 2000's rock & pop punk, while still translating to a modern newer era of music in such a natural, organic and exciting way.
