MAGNOLIA PARK – vocalist Joshua Roberts, guitarists Tristan Torres and Freddie Criales, drummer Joe Horsham and bassist Vincent Ernst – have never been ones to settle for subtlety. Since forming in 2018, the Orlando, Florida-based quintet have repeatedly proven themselves to be one of the most exciting and forward-thinking groups in the underground, spinning a chameleonic, genre-spanning sound that incorporates punk, hard rock, hip-hop and metalcore into a dizzying, multisensory experience.
Blazing onto the scene with an insatiable social media work ethic and prolific musical output, their popular Halloween mixtapes, multi-part Eater EP series and full-length debut, Baku’s Revenge, cemented them not only as a playlist and For You Page favorite for millions of listeners around the world, but a must-see live act on tour with A Day To Remember, From Ashes To New and the inaugural Summer School tour (where they served as a headliner). They’ve also graced the stages of major festivals like Reading and Leeds, When We Were Young, Sonic Temple, Louder Than Life, Welcome To Rockville and Riot Fest, plus the revived Warped Tour stops in D.C., Long Beach and Orlando. Making their way back overseas, in 2026 the band have European performances slated at Download Fest, Rock Am Ring, Rock Im Park, and more.
The fivesome have unleashed their most ambitious effort yet: VAMP (Epitaph Records), a neo-gothic concept album rich in world-building and gripping storytelling. Culling influence from the band’s favorite anime including the long-running Vampire Hunter D, along with inspiration from iconic works like Star Wars, Dracula and Joseph Cambell’s legendary monomyth, Vamp unravels an ominous journey through Nocturne Nexus, where rulers and rebels battle with the future hanging in the balance.
Across the album’s 11 tracks – produced by the band’s own producers, Torres, Criales and Ernst, alongside Andrew Wade (A Day To Remember, Wage War), Hiram Hernandez (blessthefall) and Andy Karpovck (408, Taylor Acorn) and mixed by Zakk Cervini (Bad Omens, Bring Me The Horizon) – Magnolia Park soundtrack this dramatic tale of crimson blood and chrome-plated courage through their own mix of man and machine, stacking whirring electronics and industrial undertones alongside sledgehammer breakdowns, walls of detuned guitars and Roberts’ seam-splitting vocals.
There are few acts in the scene who could effortlessly alternate between covering a beloved Disney track (“I2I,” which the band lent to the 2024 A Whole New Sound compilation) and conceptualizing a heady, intricate work like VAMP, but that unpredictability is truly what keeps fans – and Magnolia Park themselves – on their toes.
“The most exciting thing about this band is how everyone elevates everyone else,” Roberts says. “I'm just so glad that we're all able to do that and come out with great music and great vibes and feel like we’ve accomplished something special. That's the whole mission: to make sure that at the end of the journey, we're better than we were in the beginning.”

Silly Goose is the audacious brainchild of Jackson Foster and Alan Benikhis, musicians who eat, sleep, and breathe the raw power of late 90’s rap rock and nu metal. Growing up, the two marinated in the vibes of Limp Bizkit, Rage Against the Machine, Gojira, and an eclectic mix of genres, all coming together to forge the unmistakable sound of Silly Goose.
Silly Goose’s first EP, The Goose Is Out Of The Bag, was put together while the boys were still in high school and laid the groundwork for their ambitious style, while simultaneously showcasing one of the attributes that their fans most appreciate–a commitment to delivering hard-hitting music without taking themselves too seriously. At the end of the day, Silly Goose is about providing an outlet for all kinds of feelings, from frustration to rage, resentment and revenge to reveling in the joy of occasionally wanting to just be silly and mosh for the sheer exhilaration of it.
As Silly Goose moved beyond high school, both the band and its members matured significantly. They recorded their debut album, The Streets Heard It First, which laid the bedrock for their evolving sound. The heavy-hitting, anthem-like choruses and raucous energy of these early tracks struck a powerful chord with fans. The album's title also reflected the group's commitment to bringing their music directly to the people, independently and on their own terms.
The band’s upcoming EP Bad Behavior signals yet another step up from their previous work. Songs like "King of the Hill" and "Tsunami" continue to push boundaries and mark a massive milestone as their first release since signing with Blue Grape Music.
What truly sets Silly Goose apart is their fusion of high-energy performances with a genuine, down-to-earth vibe. They never take themselves too seriously. Their simple mission is to make good music, have fun and make the people happy; a purpose that endears them to fans who appreciate the authenticity of their vibe. Silly Goose isn’t just a band; they’re a brotherhood of rockers who live to shred and put on unforgettable live shows.
The Silly Goose origin story is pivotal to their grassroots rise of die-hard fans. Jackson Foster and Alan Benikhis, both Atlanta natives, originally founded Silly Goose after jamming together in high school under another name. They kickstarted their musical journey at familiar local hotspots like Smith's Olde Bar and The Masquerade, but these stages were just the beginning. Driven by a relentless, innovative spirit, the band retrofitted a trailer into a mobile stage, complete with a generator, to perform electrifying free street shows outside larger venues, usually following larger bands and playing in a parking lot, gas station or any spot close to where the crowds let out after the official show finished. This guerrilla-style approach first rocked Atlanta's Music Midtown and local venues, but quickly exploded into out-of-state festivals.
The pivotal moment for Silly Goose came in 2022 at DWP’s Inkarceration Festival in Ohio. In a now infamous move, the band “crashed” the festival when they set up and played a set in one of the festival parking lots. Receiving news of the commotion, producer Danny Wimmer himself stormed out to personally shut them down, but as legend goes, Wimmer was so blown away by their performance and out-of-the-box, old-school work ethic that he decided instead to add them to the festival lineup for the next two days. This epic event marked the start of Silly Goose’s regular appearances at DWP festivals and a cult following of fans who either witnessed the original show or desperately wish they had. Since then, Silly Goose has been packing in ever-growing, wildly enthusiastic crowds and cultivating a fiercely loyal fan base.
The current lineup of Silly Goose features Jackson Foster on lead vocals, Alan Benikhis on drums, Ian Binion on lead guitar and backup vocals, and Yalli Alvarez on bass guitar and backup vocals. Together, they create a sound that’s both explosive and deeply engaging, powered by Jackson’s dynamic vocal delivery and the band’s relentless instrumentation. The band collaborates on writing with Foster taking the lead on lyrics and steering the ship throughout the production process.
In the ever-evolving world of rock, Silly Goose stands out with their groundbreaking approach, infectious energy, and unwavering dedication to their craft. As they continue to blaze new trails and expand their reach, one thing remains rock solid: their commitment to delivering kick-ass music and unforgettable live experiences for their fans.
