Description
If David Byrne is one of the geniuses of modern times, then Start Making Sense is a tribute to genius. The musicians in this 7-piece Talking Heads Tribute take pride in faithfully recreating the music of Talking Heads entire career, including songs Talking Heads never performed live! Together they bring much of the Heads unique live show to the stage, with front man Jon Braun as a spot-on David Byrne, some have said this is the closest thing you’ll get to seeing Talking Heads again.

“Falooshh is a multi-instrumentalist specializing in trombone and trumpet. she brings the bedroom pop vibe blended with R&B and alternative.” - Detroit MetroTimes 2/25/25
Falooshh is an up and coming artist from Detroit. Her eclectic style of genre blending leaves the listener in the warmth of brassy tones while juxtaposed by serene vocal melodies. She is a multi-instrumentalist and writes and records all of her songs. Her energy is infectious live and her band is radiating with talented musicians, featuring a full horn section and backup vocals.
“Detroit multi-instrumentalist Falooshh filters bedroom-pop immediacy through a horn player’s ear—arrangements with trombone and trumpet at the center, R&B and alt textures around the edges. Expect warm brass lines, unhurried grooves, and a live band built to move a room.”
After gigging in ensembles from ska bands to jug bands for the last decade, Falooshh is fully focusing on her personal project. Her latest single ‘hurt people hurt people’ was premiered on Detroit’s NPR station WDET.
Notable gigs include headlining Cliff Bell’s and Aretha’s Jazz Cafe, and playing festivals such as Art’s Beats & Eats, and DamJam Fest.
