There was a time when multi-instrumentalist Maggie Baugh could  have found herself at the renowned Julliard school in New York City, playing  classical pieces from the likes of Tchaikovsky and Mozart. But life took a turn  when she discovered the sounds of Sara Evans and Rascal Flatts, and in turn,  she found a greater love for pouring her heart out through lyrics and country  music. 

And thank God she did. 

 Currently, the career of this spitfire with the crazy addictive  personality is moving at warm speed. not only has she reached one million +  streams on Spotify with her viral hit "Think About Me," she also finds herself  standing alongside the likes of Luke Bryan and Trace Adkins, rocking out her  fiddle in the music video for "Where the Country Girls At." Add that to the  fact that her new single "Drinking to the Broken Hearts' instantly snagged  the attention PEOPLE and CMT, and its quite evident that this talented soul is  here to stay. 

 Born in Boca Raton, Florida, Baugh was just two years old when she  asked her parents for a violin, seemingly speared on by the classical music  and intriguing characters she would watch on the Disney Channel show Little  Einsteins. At the age of six, she began to play that violin, ultimately finding  herself on the stage of Carnegie Hall just five years later. 

But soon, Baugh found herself throwing little bluegrass into a Bach  concerto and impromtu licks to age-old classics, and it was evident her  dreams were flying off that sheet music in front of her. At 12 years old, she  began playing the guitar and putting her soul into songwriting, and just one  year later, Baugh made her first trip to Nashville. 

And from there, her career caught fire. 

Soon, Baugh was playing her brand of country music all over south  Florida,headlining festivals and opening on the ampitheater stages for artists  such as Luke Combs, Kip Moore, and Chris Lane. And following a career altering, personal invitation from Live Nation's Brian O'Connell, she received  a coveted spot on the lineup of Rock the Ocean's Tortuga Music Fest, which  was named "Festival of the Year" at last years ACM Awards. As success  began to swirl around her, Baugh made the decision to make her permanent  move to Nashville and just 18 years old. 

In 2020, while the entertainment industry found themselves at a  standstill due to the pandemic, Baugh found herself busier than ever, utilizing  social media to connect to her fans in any way she could. From online music  lessons to her crazy antics, Baugh led with authenticity, and soon found 

herself a tribe of fans who not only love her brand of music, but who loved  her relatability. Her openness about tough topics such as depression,  bullying and suicide instantly made her a virtual friend to many,especially  when they needed her most. 

Today, after years of paying her dues out on the road, the twenty something with the girl next door vibe and the Doc Martens on her feet finds  herself on the cusp of country music stardom. Not only is her authentic  nature on and off the stage finding its way into the hearts of a growing legion  of fans, but it's also working on the industry, who have taken a liking to her  long list of impressive talents. 

In the last year alone, CMT Has added both of the independent  artist's latest releases to their "CMT Next Women of Country," with the CMA  also adding Baugh to their "Fresh from Nashville" and "Celebrating Women  of Country" Apple playlists to spport Baugh's debut single "Think About Me."  Spotify and Apple Music also added the rising star to their "Celebrating  Women in Country" playlists alongside A-list artists such as Carly Pearce,  Cassadee Pope and Lainey Wilson, along with the "New Boots," "Breakout  Country," "Release Radar," "Next from Nashville" and "New Music Nashville,"  with Baugh as a featured cover artist spot for Spotify's editorial playlist  "Fresh Finds: Country" 

 And after Spotify added her second single on those same playlists,  PEOPLE Magazine premiered Baugh's music video for "Drinking to the  Broken Hearts." CMT also added the sweet video to their homepage, along  with a beaming tweet to their 1.8 million Twitter Followers. And it is this  support that will soon get her back out on the road and in front of her  hundreds of thousands of loyal fans in 2022, fans who find her nothing short  of irresistible. 

 "I just want to write music that is relatable and music that will help  people forget about was going on in their life for a little while," she says.  "Music can bring people together and help them forget how crazy the world  can be sometimes. And if I can put a smile on their face for two hours, then  I've done my job"
