Magenta Wave EP Release Show w/ Lovely Colours, Anna Justen

  • Magenta Wave

    Rock

    • Magenta Wave is a rock band based in Seattle, Washington.

    • After forming in the city of Bellingham in 2022, the group quickly progressed from running their own house-shows to performing at established local venues such as The Wild Buffalo and the Blue Room.

    • Renowned for emotionally charged vocal melodies and evocative guitar solos, the band’s sound continues to develop as they write relentlessly in the garage of their shared home.

    • Relocating to Seattle in the fall of 2023, the group hit the ground running, and now have local appearances at Neumos, Capitol Hill Block Party, and Bite of Seattle under their belt. With the completion of a 12-show inaugural West Coast headlining tour earlier this spring, the group is looking to solidify their sound on the national radar.

    • Since the release of their debut single early 2024, the band has amassed over 900,000 streams from just seven songs. They recently began an eight-song rollout, cementing their evolution as a team, and their overall versatility. They are excited for what the future has in store.

  • Lovely Colours

    Indie Rock

Lovely Colours is an alternative rock band based in Seattle, Washington, known for crafting emotionally resonant songs wrapped in shimmering melodies and driving rhythms. The band was formed by Devin Damitio (vocals, guitar) and James Rosales (bass), longtime friends from Juneau, Alaska, who relocated to Seattle to pursue their musical ambitions. There, they connected with guitarist Patrick May and drummer Steven Bingham, rounding out the quartet.

Drawing from their roots in the Pacific Northwest, Lovely Colours combines dynamic instrumentation with introspective lyricism, delivering a sound that sits comfortably between lush indie pop and gritty rock. Their music explores themes of love, growth, and self-discovery, all while channeling the expansive, moody landscapes they came from.

Since their formation, Lovely Colours has made an undeniable impact on the Seattle music scene—selling out the legendary High Dive, opening up for Matchbox Twenty, and earning airplay on the influential radio station, 107.7 The End. With an unmistakable chemistry and an electric live presence, Lovely Colours continues to captivate audiences and carve out their place in the alternative rock landscape.
