Sponsored by Bells Bluff Apartments About Laundry Project The Laundry Project is a program of Current Initiatives, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, that assists low-income families in underserved communities fulfill a basic need - washing clothes and linens. All the fees and laundry supplies are provided so they can save their own resources for other things like bills, buying gas to get to/from work, or even food for their families. Volunteers (we called them Hope Dealers) assist with laundry services, entertain children, and create a caring space at the laundromat. The Laundry Project expanded to Nashville in September 2019, making Tennessee the 11th state to join the Hope Dealer family. Since then, the team has hosted 13 Nashville Laundry Projects, which paid for 3392 loads of laundry for 348 local families.
