PSYCHOPRISM formed in early 2012 when underground NJ Singer Jess Rittgers answered a Craigslist ad placed by Powermetal Guitarist Bill Visser. After several hours of conversation, Bill sent Jess a raw guitar file written to a drum machine. Jess had his raw mix vocals back to Bill within a week. Bill took down his ad. Both agreed to meet on May 5, 2012 and record the song which became “Defiance” promoting it to build the rest of the band. Over 1000 emails and promotions went out everywhere. Kevin Myers- (Drums), kept appearing at auditions, substituting for the drum machine. Jess and Bill flat out asked him one day in the parking lot: "Are you our drummer?" and he said "Yes." Adam Peterson-(Keys & Guitar), auditioned over an email from San Antonio Texas, which led Jess to wake up Bill at 2:am. Bill listened to what became "Against the Grain" with Adams "Horror-Metal Keys" and said to Jess: "He nailed 95% of the harmonies by ear, we can't lose this guy!" So Jess texted Adam at 2:20am while walking his dog, and Adam was in! He just packed up whatever he could fit into his truck and literally drove 1/2 way across the country in time to make the photo shoot! Erick joined the band in December 2015. Erick has been a fan of power metal since he was a kid & is a perfect fit to the Psychoprism puzzle!
Our debut E.P. "Bloodlines" was released May 24th 2014 and has been a huge hit to our fans and music fans in general.

JESS RITTGERS is Psychoprism's "Voice of Multiple Personalities and Octaves." Jess was performing jazz fusion prior to Psychoprism, and brings a unique blend of timing and aspect into the mix. Jess gives technical credit to Lisa Von-Goerken (1993). Lyrically, Jess writes from a standpoint of personal experience. These "True Stories" open a "Pandora's Box" that which truly suggests a Mythology of it's own.

BILL VISSER started playing guitar as a young teenager when he saw a kiss video, and thought that was the coolest thing ever. He bought a guitar and started to take lessons. He was very into the Yngwie neo classical style and just fell on love with the speed and technical aspect. Bill has played in several bands, including Operatika which was signed to Scarlet Records in 2008. He wrote all the music for their first album, and they toured Europe up until 2011.

KEVIN MYERS has been playing drums for 26 years. His past bands include Malaki, Shadow Road, Rattlebone, Gothic Knights and Cypher Seer. Kevin has shared the stage with Savatage, WASP, Blue Oyster Cult, Sepultura, Great white and Motorhead, just to name a few.

ADAM PETERSON is a classically trained pianist hailing from College Station, TX. He started piano lessons at the age of 7 and was driven from this early age to be the best. From the age of 12, he was the accompanist for various UIL competitions throughout several school districts. He paid his way through college by receiving multiple music awards and scholarships. Adam has more than one capacity in this band, but you’ll need to see the live performance to find out.

To anyone of any age nostalgic for old school rock and roll, Atomic Beauty provides a cool and thrilling alternative to the electronic music saturating the industry. Vanessa and Val are a blend of powerful hooks, coruscating vocal harmonies, and searing guitar leads; backed by a strong rhythm section, their live performances are an experience intensified by their showmanship and on-stage chemistry—Old school rock and roll fused with pop sensibilities.

Atomic Beauty wants to bring back the depth to music through their own. After only two listens, hook lines and melodic catches begin drifting around some back-of-the-brain compartment, ready to be regurgitated as out-of-tune humming at a moments notice. It's not quite sing-a-long, because its not that uncomplicated — in fact the essence of their music is that it possesses enough underlying complexity to make it last and last, way past a few cursory listens. For them, it’s about the music itself. It’s that raw rock sound that came out of the era of the superbands that seemed to be missing up until now. Atomic Beauty represents the apogee for a certain type of rock stardom that has been building—which the world has not seen since the 70s. Their aesthetic, sound, performances, and sexual heat burns hot, blue and righteous the spirit of 73. Vanessa Milanesi and Val Vallese are a magnificently improbable balancing act, one powered by internal conflicts and bizarre chemistry. They are a blend of powerful hooks, tasteful vocal harmonies, and searing guitar leads. Backed by a strong rhythm section, their live performances are an experience intensified by their showmanship and on-stage chemistry. Pop sensibilities fused with old school rock and roll, Atomic Beauty is in it for the long-haul.
