State of Being emerged from Cleveland’s alternative and industrial scene in the early 1990s, founded by singer-songwriter Christopher Foldi. The band gained early momentum after opening for Chemlab at the legendary Phantasy Nite Club, setting the stage for the release of their debut CD, Dysfunctional Vision, a unique fusion of synthpop, industrial, and punk. In 2004, the band released Haywire, produced by Andy Kubiszewski (formerly of Stabbing Westward), expanding their sound and blending rock, industrial, and electronic influences. The album gained international airplay, with Skope Magazine hailing it as “aggro-indie.”

Now in 2025, State of Being returns with a revitalized lineup, including Chris Becka on guitar, Greg Boehnlein (The Chromes) on bass, Sean Furlong (Prick) on drums, and Foldi’s brother, Scott Foldi, on keys. This refreshed lineup breathes new life into their classic material, blending fresh energy with the raw spirit of their early days.

Flowers Love Being Kurt is a 4-piece rock band from Cleveland. Love Muffin founder Adam Rich has been releasing solo albums since the mid 1990’s when he was in college. In 2007, Love Muffin put on it’s first concert. In 2016, Adam decided to form a live band to play at one of his concerts. The initial lineup under the name XLT 1000 lasted until 2019. Covid shut down live venues for 2020, and Adam assembled a new lineup to resume playing out in 2021. Vocalist/guitarist Chris Foldi and bassist Jim Simandle were recruited. Drummer Kurt Bernardo was unable to play that year, so Adam’s cousin Hal Cohen filled in. The band was known as Flowers Love Being Hal that year. Kurt returned in 2022. 

The name comes from one word of each of the other members main bands at the time. Flowers represents Flowers In Flames, Love represents Adam’s Love Muffin, Being is for State Of Being, and Kurt is just Kurt.

The Plastic Volts are newcomers to the Cleveland music scene consisting of 40-year veterans of the 1980’s-90’s Cleveland Punk Rock movement. Guitarist - TA Miller previously of the Offbeats, Agitated, Starvation Army, Swank Motel, etc.. Bassist - Scott Stemple previously of The Dissidents, Defnics, Reasonseven, Chrome Kickers, Ethiopian Hillbillys, etc...Hailing from Warner Robins, Georgia Drummer - Jeff Sasso previously of the band Southern band Flight and the Ethiopian Hillbillys, and Lead Vocalist/Trumpeter - Mark Heath previously of the band Reasonseven. Drawing inspiration from their past musical experiences and musical/artistic tastes, The Plastic Volts dig deep into their common bag of tricks and huge sack of songs to create something that only be described as The Plastic Volts.
