Long Island Alzheimer's & Dementia Center (LIAD Center) is driven by a mission to
improve the quality of life for those living with Alzheimer's disease and related forms
of dementia and their caregivers. LIAD is unique on Long Island, providing
comprehensive support for diagnosed individuals and those who care for them
through our Caregiver Respite & Support Programs-including our social adult day
program that is available 6 days a week with transportation, In-Home Respite care,
resources and referral support, caregiver training and support groups & individual
psychotherapeutic counseling. Our programs focus on abilities, not on disabilities-on
what people can do happily and productively, and not on what they can no longer do.
As a local not-for-profit organization, proceeds will directly serve dementia families in our Long Island community
Music can be a powerful tool for connecting with and helping individuals with Alzheimer's disease, offering benefits like reduced agitation, improved mood, and enhanced memory.
Excited to be a part of a night that will surely bring smiles to all who attend.
