Locksmith is a West Coast artist/producer born and raised in Richmond, California. Lock first gained notoriety in the underground hip hop scene through MTV's MC Freestyle Championship, then built a regional following as one half of the duo Frontline, whose songs, including the hit “Bang It,” earned commercial radio play and video rotation on MTV.
In 2011, Lock embarked on a solo career that has earned him a loyal fan base.
Locksmith’s music has been featured on MTV, BET, Revolt TV, Shade 45, TeamBackpack, New York radio station Hot 97’s “Who’s Next?” concert series and numerous national media outlets, including XXL, HipHopDX, Rap Radar and 2DopeBoyz. He’s toured alongside Joe Budden, Murs, R.A. the Rugged Man, Jedi Mind Tricks, and Zion I. In 2016 Lock appeared in the BET Hip Hop Awards "Live Cypher" presented by Sway Calloway.
Lock’s mixtapes and albums have included collaborations with Hopsin, Jarren Benton, and Chris Webby as well as production from 9th Wonder (“Stand It”), Ski Beatz (“Lock”), Kato The Producer (“Grime” & “Black Hole”) and West Coast hit maker Nic Nac ("American Beauty").
His official debut album, A Thousand Cuts, was released in 2014, followed by Lofty Goals (2015). His latest album, Olive Branch, will arrive March 31, 2017.

J.Lately distinguishes himself as an emcee with his soulful style and laid back flow. A true appreciation for music along with the unique ability to put everyday life into a relatable perspective has allowed him to flourish in the local Bay Area scene and beyond. His music possesses the rare ability to make you contemplate and vibe out simultaneously, finding the perfect balance between the conscious and the stoner. Coming from the small town of Sebastopol, and having split time between Oakland and Southern California, his influences are eclectic and mesh together effortlessly to form his own individual style. A relentless drive has kept Lately on tour across the country with artists such as Zion I, Locksmith, and A-Plus of the Hieroglyphics. He has released multiple solo and collaborative projects, with his most recent solo album, Be Fucking Happy, garnering the attention of many notable blogs and listeners alike.

Leon the God
Hip-Hop/Rap
New Orleans MC/producer, Leon the God, imbues his music with a wisdom and timelessness that belies his youth. He aggressively delivers spiritually-themed lyrics atop his own psychedelic production, creating a sound that carries on the tradition of conscious, futuristic hip hop. Since 2015, Leon has released two EPs, "Genesis" and "Godhop[e]", and built up an audience through selective local performances, official showcases at various festivals (SxSW, A3C), and mini-tours of the East and West Coasts. In February 2017, Leon released his third EP, "Nova", and plans to tour the Deep South to support it. He also recently released the "Ask and You'll Receive EP".

There is a kindness that refuses to be mistaken as weakness. There is a compassion that refuses to be mistaken as passivity. There is an artistry that refuses to be mistaken as fluff. There is an emcee who refuses to be mistaken as a flat caricature of a rapper. His name is Odessa Kane. He is a lot of things, but weak, passive, fluffy, and flat are not among the adjectives likely to precede his name in a sentence. The Southeast San Diego native has earned the respect of SD’s hip hop community over the past two decades, a respect that has been garnered behind the mic for sure, but also as a father, organizer and more. Odessa Kane is a socially and politically-charged emcee and he has worked with some of the most notorious hip hop crews in SD, including Masters of the Universe and Red Lotus Klan. Kane has a thorough catalogue, and is only getting better.

With the first few notes, 18 Sense’ ethereal production draws you “Way Out Here” as Ric Scales’ vocals lull listeners along the same path, pulling them into the world created by Leave it all Behind. The FreEP displays, in equal measure, the versatility of CAliens’ 18 Sense as a producer, and the same of the FRESHstate’s Ric Scales as an emcee, a storyteller, and social commentator. Scales’ register sits in that voice-you-could-listen-to-all-day range, akin to that of Common or Mos Def – you just don’t get tired of listening to him. While his tone keeps him listenable for multiple spins in a row, it is Ric Scales’ cadences, intricate rhyme schemes, delivery, style and unique angle on common themes that is sure to keep you coming back for more…
