Locals Night at The Blue Note

Local Bay Area musicians are featured on the stage and all are welcome. Reservations are not taken, it is a first come, first seated venue. Ask your server about food and drink specials!

If you are a Napa County Local: Upon presentation of a Napa County ID, tickets do not need to be purchased. However, purchased tickets will guarantee you have a seat in the location you purchased.

If you are not a Napa County Local, tickets will need to be purchased.

BLUE NOTE NAPA is located on the first floor of the Napa Valley Opera House at 1030 Main St. We are an intimate 144-seat jazz club and restaurant, where you can enjoy performances of world renowned and local Bay Area artists alike. We offer a full menu with market-driven cuisine, as well as an elegant wine and cocktail list. Enjoy fantastic sharing plates, desserts and wonderful main courses while you take in the show.

BOOTHS: Our premier level of seating! Booths are only sold for parties of 4, 5/6 and are not available as singles or pairs. Booths are sold on a general admission first-come, first-serve basis. We will seat you when you arrive. Ea ticket is your reservation. 1 ticket/person.

TABLE EATING:   First-come, first-seated, with the full menu available. Pairs are seated across from each other. 1 ticket/person.

BAR AREA 21+: Great View!! Bar Chairs with cushioned seat and back are first-come, first-seated, standing room area is also available. There are under counter purse hooks available too.  Dinner is also served at the bar.  1 ticket/person.

Unless otherwise specified, shows are Ages 8+ (Under 16 accompanied by an adult)

A portion of all ticket fees goes to the historic preservation of the Napa Valley Opera House.

Tickets are the same price whether purchased in person, over the phone or online.

    Jim Kimo West and Ken Emerson are both living legends in the world of Hawaiian slack key and acoustic steel guitar. They strive for freshness and spontaneity in their duet shows in keeping with the true Hawaiian “kanikapila” style.
    Kimo’s most recent CD, “Moku Maluhia-Peaceful Island” was nominated in the 61st Grammy Awards. A winner of the Hawaii Music Award , Kimo also has four Na Hoku Hanohano ( the Hawaiian ‘Grammy’) nominations and has won two LA Treasures Awards.
    Kimo’s eight slack key CD’s have garnered him much praise and well over 75 million streams on Pandora and Spotify. Besides his solo slack key career, Kimo is long-time guitarist on CD’s
    and tours for the world’s most famous musical satirist, “Weird Al” Yankovic whose recent CD, “Mandatory Fun” debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts and won the Grammy® for Best Comedy Recording, his fourth Grammy® award.
    Their diverse musical influences venture beyond the islands toward the land of blues, ragtime and jazz. Both Ken and Kimo have a number of Grammy®, recording and touring credits. Ken was composer/guitarist on Hawaii's first Grammy-winning album “Slack Key Guitar Vol 2” and
    also featured guitarist on “Morph The Cat” by Donald Fagen (Steely Dan).
    His many other touring and recording credits include Jackson Brown, Boz Scaggs, Charlie Musselwhite, Todd Rundgren, Darryl Hall and Elvin Bishop as well as Hawaiian slack key legends Gabby Pahinui, Moe Keale, Genoa Keawe and Raymond Kane.
