Live On The Stoop began as a series of pop-up shows in the Fillmore District with The Top Chefs, a collective of musicians rooted in the city. It has since evolved into a platform where artists from around the world can reimagine their songs live with the band. Now, we're bringing the Stoop experience to The Independent, just two blocks away from the home where the movement began.
This show won't simply recreate the pop-ups that our neighbors have come to know and love. It's a narrative-driven multimedia stage production celebrating San Francisco's musical history, from the Fillmore jazz era to the Summer Of Love to mobb music and beyond. If you love this city and its true culture, you won't want to miss it.
