Description
LIVE COVERAGE is a group of recording artists, filmmakers, actors and writers who love to make LIVE music. They COVER post-punk and new wave AGE, as well as other favored artists. From the art-rock cool of Bowie to the pop-punk charm of Blondie, they keep it pumping and bring the magic alive. Live Coverage is Andy Keir (bass), Bonafide Rojas (guitar/vocals), Brooke Hall (keyboard/vocals), Frank Harkins (drums), Gina Jarrin (vocals), Jon Patrick Walker (vocals), Walter Gross (guitar)
Bass player Andy Keir has performed in three other bands and is an Emmy-nominated film editor. When he is not in his editing room or practicing his bass, he co-produces a live comedy show with Gina Jarrin called The Ping Pong Room Live. He writes and directs short films. If you’re guessing that he functions on very little sleep, you would be correct.
Gina Jarrin is a former PR executive who chucked it all for her love of acting and writing. She became a stand-up comic in her mid-40s and embraced her nomadic life. After singing in various kitchens, showers and moving cars — and following Noel Gallagher and Oasis around the world — she is thrilled to share a stage with incredible musicians as a vocalist on some of her favorite songs.
Jon Patrick Walker is an actor/singer-songwriter whose blend of folk and rock on his recorded music has drawn comparisons to artists from Dylan to the Beatles. In addition to countless staged performances, JP was King George in Hamilton’s national touring company.
Bonafide Rojas is a Poet & Musician, he has five collections of poetry, including his latest: EXCELSIOR. He’s the bandleader/songwriter for the musical project, The Mona Passage, who have released two albums. He scored the music for Keir and Jarrin’s short film, lives in NYC, and only wears red socks.
Brooke Hall is an actor, director, and musician. The baby of the band with an old soul, Brooke has always had a deep love for music since a young age. Her singing range takes her from the heights of Elphaba to the edgy, raw sounds of Blondie. It defies more than just gravity.
Frank Harkins: Designer. Drummer. Devoted dabbler. Oh, and Grammy winner.
Walter Gross is a guitarist, composer, and jazz obsessive who studied at Berklee College of Music. He’s channeled that creative spirit into both live performance and digital innovation—crafting projects like the Blue Note Spotify App and leading marketing initiatives alongside legends from Bob Dylan to Miles Davis.
