LIVE AT THE FILLMORE 9/7 - FILLMORE WEST 1971
“At Fillmore East” is attributed as the record that “broke” the Allman Brothers Band, rocketing them to superstardom, but the era which that album captures is remembered for the best rock and roll ever played live. Before those March 1971 shows at Fillmore East, the original ABB lineup in its prime, featuring Gregg & Duane Allman, Dickie Betts, Berry Oakley, Butch Trucks, and Jai Johanny "Jaimoe" Johanson, played a 3-night run at Bill Graham’s Fillmore West in San Francisco Jan 29-31, 1971. On Sept 6, those shows will be released as “Fillmore West 1971”, a 4-CD collection culled from the original reel-to-reel soundboard masters, collected from tapes in crew members’ attics and closets and restored using cutting edge technology.
Celebrate the release of “Fillmore West 1971” with Live At The Fillmore, the definitive tribute to the Allman Brothers Band, performing classic-era ABB at NYC’s The Cutting Room, on Saturday September 7!
