Costumes encouraged! Little Miss Ann (Chicago): Little Miss Ann is a Filipina-American, nationally touring kids musician who has made 9 award-winning Family Music albums. She is also a former Chicago Public School teacher, an instructor at Chicago's iconic Old Town School of Folk Music, a social justice activist, and a first generation Filipina American. She is also a member of the kids music superduo "Birds of a Feather" with Suzi Shelton. Whether Ann is singing about Ube, a Filipino purple yam, or about Spring, her musical themes will inspire kids to let their own light shine in their own families as well as in their communities! Suzi Shelton (Brooklyn): Indie children's recording artist Suzi Shelton is a multi-award winning singer/songwriter and family performer based in Brooklyn, NY who has been bringing joy and musical fun to families for over two decades. She has 10 albums under her belt, including her recent collab with Little Miss Ann from Chicago with their band 'Birds of a Feather," and new album with Benjamin (Princess Backpack & Benjamin) which was released in early 2026.  Benjamin of Princess Backpack and Benjamin (Brooklyn):  Benjamin Weiner (performing as Princess Backpack and Benjamin) makes sweet, silly, danceable, interactive, surprising and thoroughly fun kids music! He has released two full-length albums (with 25 total songs) and his collaborative album with Suzi Shelton (We're Friends Now) came out in March 2026.  He has been featured on, and written songs for, three more albums, including Little Miss Ann's most recent album, After We Roam. He has been performing music for children since 2016, and is an active member of the Children's Music Network. Symon Hajjar of Hot Toast Music Co. (Tulsa) :  Symon Hajjar is a Tulsa based dad, educator, and musician who writes irresistible kids' music, all with purpose. Hajjar, or Mr. Symon as his students call him, draws inspiration from the wonder of childhood and the power of music to inspire, teach, and connect a community. In his first classes as a music teacher at local Reggio Emilia preschool, B'nai Emunah, Symon was taken in by how quickly even the youngest children remembered the lyrics to songs.  A lightbulb went off! Put to music, everything was an opportunity for learning and connection. Now, whether he's teaching, working with his kids in the garden, unraveling the complexities of the human experience, or swapping dinosaur facts with a four-year-old, he always has a song for the occasion.
