Lewis Belt is an Oakland-born stand-up comedian, actor, producer, and one of the hottest young voices on the West Coast. A rising star under 35, Lewis has built a loyal fanbase through high-energy live performances, viral online content, and his iconic alter-ego Sonniebo — a character who has become a cultural mascot for Oakland and the Bay Area.
Lewis first exploded online with millions of views from his Sonniebo sketches, raw storytelling, and authentic comedic style. He appeared on MTV’s Are You The One? (Season 7) and has since continued to elevate, headlining and selling out clubs across the country from California to the East Coast.
His comedy catalog includes multiple hit specials. His latest hour-long special, On Mommas, released independently on YouTube in 2025, surpassed 100,000 views in its first month.
