Let There Be Lesbians x Bang the Drum x The Rock present: GAY AWAKENING

After being forced to close Bang the Drum’s Laurel Lane location in May, we’re throwing our first party in a new space and are excited to team up with The Rock.

Gay Awakening is about honoring the moments that helped us realize who we are, the movie scenes, music videos, late-night confessions, and quiet truths that shaped our queer identities. We didn’t always see ourselves in the world around us now we get to be the representation. This Pride, we’re not just celebrating visibility, we’re celebrating the joy, power, and stories that brought us here.

What to expect:

• Cocktail hour with very silly pre“games”
   
• Queer DJs, drinks, and a sea of queers
   
• Some of your very favorite Go-Go’s & Drag Kings
   
• Queer Awakening moments: submit yours to be a part of the experience 

What we build has always been about the people and community is wherever we show up together.

This party is a space for ALL queer people and allies.
