Abe and Jake’s Landing and Downtown Lawrence, Inc. will offer a showcase of local German-inspired food, drink, and fun with Lawrence Oktoberfest, presented by Crown Distributors.    This Oktoberfest will have a Lawrence flair, featuring German-inspired food and drink from local restaurants. More than a dozen seasonal craft and German style beers will be offered including seasonal ciders and brews from Boulevard, Prost, Cinder Block, Empyrean and Holidaily, as well as wine and non-alcoholic beverage choices.  This year features the return of authentic German music by 10 piece wind orchestra, Festhaus Musikanten and Oktoberfest band The Happy Wanderers.     This is an all-ages event that will offer activities and fun for the whole family and kids 12 and under are free.
