This show is a celebration of the final collaboration between Nashville legend Bill Pursell and his daughter Laura. It is also the last music he ever wrote. The album was originally intended to be a tribute to wife Julie, who passed away from vascular dementia. With Bill’s tragic passing to Covid in 2020, it has become a tribute to both of them.
 
 
Laura Pursell
Singer, recording artist, writer and actress Laura Pursell has roots in Nashville country and west coast jazz. She has appeared in TV, film and theater, including an award-winning 1-woman show she wrote about her Nashville childhood. With 5 CD albums under her belt, she has performed live with legendary jazz musicians all over southern CA and with her father, pianist, composer and legendary sideman Bill Pursell, one of the original “Nashville cats” on Music Row. Laura was in production on a 6th studio album with her dad when he contracted Covid in August 2020. He tragically passed away three weeks later. Laura relocated to Nashville and finished this, their final album together.
 
Charlie McCoy
Any musician in Nashville has heard of Charlie McCoy. A mainstay in Music City since the '60s, Charlie has played on dozens of hit records, including work with such legends as Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Simon and Garfunkel, George Jones, Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison and many more, including Bill Pursell. The solo work of this Country Music Hall Of Fame member is contained on more than three dozen albums that Charlie has released over the past four decades.
Charlie has performed all over America, Japan twenty times and in over two hundred cities and towns in Europe.
