This show will be a phone-free experience. Use of cellphones, smart watches, smart accessories, cameras and recording devices will not be permitted in the performance space. 
 
Upon arrival at the venue, all phones and smart watches will be secured in Yondr cases that will be opened at the end of the event. Guests maintain possession of their phones at all times, and can access their phones throughout the show at designated Phone Use Areas in the venue. All phones will be re-secured in Yondr cases before returning to the performance space.  
 
Anyone seen using a cellphone during the performance will be escorted out of the venue. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free viewing experience.

    Stand-up

    Carol Ann Leif is equally at home performing for any audience: militant feminists, drunk businessmen, college students, Alternative Comedy crowds, or black tie benefit audiences. In fact, she's a comedy darling on the benefit circuit: Choose To Laugh/ Laugh to Choose, Comics For Choice, California Women’s Law Center, Project Angel Food, and the benefit CD, Stand-Up Against Domestic Violence. She is also a frequent guest on both sports and talk radio. The Daily News even profiled an appearance (yes, with clothes) by Carol Ann at a Nudist Colony. Carol Ann can be seen in the romantic comedy  “Nice Guys Sleep Alone” and the short film “Get Skinny”.

    Jimmy Burns puts the fun in funny! After ten years of teaching elementary school Mr. Burns transitioned from school teacher to stand-up comedian and filled his act with stories of laughter we all can relate to.  

     

    “I got stories! I taught in the Title One program, a Private school in Encino, Los Angeles Unified & Omaha Public schools. And I did time as a substitute teacher too!!”

    His likeable style will draw you in and his ride down memory lane will light you up with laughter. He is quick, clean and clever. Jimmy was the house emcee at The Legendary Ice House Comedy Club in Pasadena, CA for 23 years.  He has toured nationally as the opening act for Brad Garrett in Concert, George Lopez, and Arsenio Hall.  When Arsenio got the nod to host Star Search he booked Jimmy as his audience warm-up for Star Search and again for The Arsenio Hall Show 2013-14.  Jimmy was the co-host for the radio show “Live from Here” on The National Lampoon Comedy Radio Network, the host of “Show Me The Funny” on the Wealth Network, and has had a few TV commercials.  He currently can be heard on KLOS 95.5 every Sunday night. Oh, and he shot a TV pilot for the Food Network called, “Stand-up & Grill!”
