Kristen Ford is a singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist influenced by greats such as Alanis Morrisette, Radiohead and Ani Difranco. She navigates life as a biracial, queer girl and tours globally in pursuit of the perfect show. Her live performance morphs from unplugged solo acoustic to screaming, electric guitar soloing in front of a rock band to her dynamic one woman band using loops, beatboxing and a healthy case of ADHD to her advantage.
Ford’s Righteous Babe Records debut was produced by Ani Difranco, mixed by John Driskill Hopkins (Zac Brown Band) and is set to release late 2024. Kristen is endorsed by Gallagher Guitars, K&K pickups & G7th Capos

‘Original folk voice’ Ruth Theodore signed to Ani Difranco's Righteous Babe Records, has collaborated and shared stages with iconic international artists, adopting the role of international co-producer, and unleashing four critically acclaimed studio albums to date, with an imminent fifth eagerly anticipated.
Ruth’s music reflects her naturally transient personality, actively avoiding being pinned down in all aspects of life from sexuality to physical location, Ruth’s compositions, like their creator, delve deep into various realms and genres whilst never lingering long enough to become entangled in the details. With this panoramic vista, Ruth creates and performs with a unique and instantly recognizable style that effortlessly pushes the boundaries of gender and genre, and defies the confines of the conventional "singer-songwriter" archetype.
Ruth's emotive, often political, but always playful stage show, radiates joy and energy, earning her the honor of appearing as special guest alongside US political folk icon Ani Difranco, gracing iconic venues like the illustrious London Palladium. Influential publications such as ‘The Guardian’ sing Ruth’s praises and editor and founder of ‘fRoots’ heralds Ruth as ‘one of the most innovative, original, exciting – and underrated – artists in the UK’.

From experiencing ghosting, heartache and love to discovering her non linear healing journey around sexuality, self love, body neutrality, and addiction; Em Grace untangles an intimate part of herself and gifts you with a mirror. Her deepest intention is to use her music to heal; to connect and unify communities all over the world with vulnerability.
EM GRACE & the Undercuts is an all queer band making ukulele punk, defying the perceived contrast between sweet tones and strong electric waves. Front woman, Em, pairs her electric baritone ukulele with emotionally visceral vocals and is amplified by bass (Sage), and drums (Rachael V.).
Em Grace has independently released two EPs, “Peach Tree” and “Waves of Grief”, which are on all listening platforms.
Em Grace started in 2017 as a solo project and the Undercuts joined in 2022.
We have headlined at The Golden Dagger Chicago and Burlington Bar; performed at Chicago staples Hard Rock Cafe Chicago, Reggie's Music Joint, Fruit Salad and The Second City. In March and April we'll be making our debut at Liars Club and Subterranean.
We’ve paid our dues and played at copious amounts of local comedy shows, DIY venues, bars, restaurants, professional studios, apartments, and speakeasies.
